Deadline Extended to Join the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence

During the first year of the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence program, we are identifying local election departments who want to join the Alliance and serve as a support system for each other and for other election departments across the country. These offices will be recognized as U.S. Centers for Election Excellence.

While we have received strong initial interest from many election departments that would like to get involved with the Alliance, we recognize that election officials are currently in the middle of primary election season. To ensure that every interested election department is able to respond, we are extending the deadline to let us know if you would like to be a Center for Election Excellence. If you would like to learn more, or explore whether your election office would be a good fit for the Centers for Election Excellence program, please fill out the form by Monday, May 16th.

Centers for Election Excellence will be selected based on their:

  • Excitement and willingness to participate in the program
  • Commitment to improve upon practices and procedures aimed at enhancing the voter, poll worker, and staff experiences
  • Commitment to being part of a learning cohort, sharing materials among cohort members, and providing input into the future of the program
